General Questions
Get the most out of IMMUNOLOGY2027™ by downloading the official meeting mobile app. The app will put the full scientific program, schedule, speaker information, maps, and other meeting details right at your fingertips.
We’ll notify you when the app is available for download!
Children aged 13 and older are welcome to attend IMMUNOLOGY2027™ if accompanied by a registered adult. Children under the age of 13* may not attend and are prohibited from entry into the Exhibit Hall, session rooms, or hallways in the meeting area. No children will be allowed entry into social events.
*Babies under age 1 who are being carried or in a baby carrier (i.e., baby sling; no car seats/strollers will be permitted) may accompany their parent/guardian in the Exhibit Hall only. Babies may not be placed on the floor or left unattended.
There will not be a childcare room on-site. AAI will be providing some financial support to parents with a $500 family care grant. This option allows AAI to support more families. You will be able to indicate your interest in receiving one of the grants when registering for the meeting.
Anyone attending the meeting to attend any sessions or visit the Exhibit Hall must be a registered attendee. Guest tickets are available for purchase to attend the IMMUNOLOGY2027™ Gala. You may purchase one for you and your guest when registering for the meeting. You can purchase tickets for the Gala after you have registered by revisiting your registration. A link to access your registration can be found in the confirmation email which was sent to you after you completed your registration.
We want you to be comfortable so you can enjoy your meeting experience. Business casual dress is strongly encouraged. We suggest bringing a light sweater or jacket with you during the day because meeting rooms are air-conditioned.
If you have a disability or additional needs that may impact your participation in IMMUNOLOGY2027™, check the appropriate box when registering and describe your needs. AAI staff will contact you before the meeting to discuss any special needs. AAI cannot ensure the availability of appropriate accommodation without prior notification of need.
There is also an opportunity, when registering, to indicate dietary needs and food allergies. While we will make every effort to accommodate dietary needs, we cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment.
Many sessions will be recorded and made available for on-demand viewing after the meeting for a fee. Recording availability may vary by session.
To protect the scientific content and presenters, attendees may not photograph, audio record, or video record scientific sessions, including poster presentations. Attendees who violate this policy will be asked to delete any photographs or recordings and may be subject to removal from the meeting.
Attendees are prohibited from photographing and recording (audio or video) scientific sessions, including posters. Violators will be asked to delete photographs or recordings and may risk expulsion from the meeting. Please note: During poster hours, if you have the permission of the author, you may take photographs of a poster. Authors are permitted to photograph their own posters.
AAI permits Exhibitors to distribute promotional materials and other approved items only within their assigned exhibit booths. Promotional materials may not be distributed or placed outside exhibit booths—including in hotels, convention center lobbies, session rooms, or other meeting areas—without prior approval from AAI.
Yes! Attendees and exhibitors can post job opportunities on the AAI On-Site Jobs Board. It’s a convenient way to connect with scientists and other meeting attendees who may be exploring new career opportunities.

The Los Angeles Convention Center is located in the heart of Downtown Los Angeles and is easily accessible from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). It is approximately 23 minutes by car, taxi, or rideshare). The LACC is also just steps away from the Metro Pico Station (serves the A and E Lines).

Complimentary Wi-Fi is available in all lobby spaces and meeting rooms. You can access the Wi-Fi using the network name LACC Free Wi-Fi. Access the network by entering an email address on the login page.
Yes, you can charge your phone by stopping at two of the convenient charging stations with USB connections and power located outside of West Hall and the Business Center. There are also house phones located throughout the LACC which are available for complimentary local and toll-free calls. Just dial “9” to get an outside line.
Yes, there is a full-service Business Center managed by Image Quest Plus, an LA-based business services company. It is located in the Concourse Hall corridor next to the vending machines. Services include copying, printing, faxing, scanning, banners/signs, small package shipping and receiving, office supplies.
Yes, there are six ATM machines located throughout the Center. Two are found in the West Lobby, one is in the Concourse Corridor, and three are in the South Lobby
Yes, the LACC is accessible and designed in compliance with ADA requirements.
There are multiple restroom locations throughout the venue, including two gender-neutral restrooms. One can be found in the South Hall, just outside of Hall G, and the other in the West Hall, on the upper level by Room 510.
The LACC has 5,600 public parking spaces available to visitors and located in three convenient parking structures (West Hall Garage, South Hall Garage and Venice Garage). Flat rates of $35-$45 apply.
On-site registration is located in the South Lobby of the LACC. On-site registration hours are:
- Friday, April 30: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Saturday, May 1: 6:30 AM – 6:00 PM
- Sunday, May 2: 6:30 AM – 6:00 PM
- Monday, May 3: 6:30 AM – 6:00 PM

The Speaker Ready Room location is TBD. The Speaker Ready Room hours are:

Speakers are required to check in at the Speaker Ready Room a minimum of four (4) hours prior to their presentation time to confirm your presentation is working properly. You will be able to upload your presentation prior to arrival as many times as you need. More details will be sent to speakers with the invitations to present.

IMMUNOLOGY2027™ Poster Gallery
See, hear, and learn what your colleagues have been working on as they share their new research. Posters change daily, and two sessions will be held each day.
There are two nursing mothers’ lounges available at the LACC. One can be found in the First Aid offices in the South Hall Lobby (main level by Pico Street entrance), and in the West Hall Lobby (outside Hall A – across from Petree C).
The LACC First Aid/Medically Staffed Office is located in the South Lobby by the Pico Boulevard entrance.
For any emergencies, building security can be reached on any beige house phone by dialing 3000. You can also contact the 24-hour security team from any telephone at 213-765-4605. Due to the size of the Center, dialing 911 directly is discouraged in order to ensure that our first responders are given detailed and accurate location information.
Hotels
onPeak is the official housing service for IMMUNOLOGY2027™. Beware of scams: no other organization other than onPeak may claim to represent AAI for housing.
Discounts are being offered through the IMMUNOLOGY2027™ website only. Please visit the IMMUNOLOGY2027™ Hotels page to book your hotel. If you contact the hotels directly, you will not be able to receive the AAI discount.
Yes, an email confirmation of your reservation will be sent to you immediately after making your reservation. The confirmation will come from the official housing company, onPeak. Your hotel confirmation number will be sent within two weeks of your arrival. The confirmation will come from onPeak and not from the hotel at which you will be staying.
Cancellation policies and fees vary by hotel. To find your hotel’s policy, choose your hotel option and then click on “view hotel policies” (this can usually be found under the nightly rate).
